things on tuesday...on wednesday

i don't know why i have a diffifult time remembering to do this on the right day...but anyway:

pros:

• work sucks far less this week than last (it's kind of a long story about why it sucked last week, but the cliff's notes version is that a salesperson made me look incompetant to my boss and other colleagues and it turned out the client was super impressed with my work that was criticized by said salesperson and now i'm sure he feels like an ass...it's the little victories...).
• by the time i write my next "things on tuesday," matt will be home
• i have yoga tonight...that's generally one of the high points of the week.
• obama rocks my socks off...my opinion: mccain is a cranky, crotchety old man.
• it's supposed to be 70 and sunny this weekend
• i'm looking forward to going out this saturday night

cons:

• i'd rather have matt home now, i guess he was in boston this weekend, jersey last monday, brooklyn last night and i think they're going to baltimore tonight? it's a weird feeling not knowing what state your boyfriend is in. i have to check their band's myspace to know for sure because i can't talk to him everyday.
• i could really use some sunshine...the cool, rainy and cloudy thing is only OK on lazy sunday afternoons and it's getting a little old and mildly depressing.
• the green bay packers lost this weekend...so did the milwaukee brewers, so did the university of wisconsin badgers. sad weekend in wisconsin sports.
• i've been too lazy to go to the gym the last week or so and i feel like a couch potato
