with intention.
it's been a new thing for me to set an intention for my yoga practice for the day. it makes it easier for me to concentrate because i'm not trying to completely devoid myself of thoughts all together which, coincidentally, only creates more thoughts. that's part of "being present" thing that i have yet to figure out.
so anyway...what i mean by intention, is dedicating my practice that day to a person who might need my good vibes, or focusing on something within myself that needs special attention, whether it's a feeling of insecurity or anger or whatever it might be. even though the people that i think about never know that they were my focus for those 75 minutes, there's something about it that makes me feel closer and more connected to them, if even for a little while.
i hope he gets the good vibes i'll be sending his way.
