Have you ever had a premonition? Did you heed it?
Submitted by aynge.
i'm not sure if you'd call them premonitions or what - but i have very frequent deja vu and i am completely positive that my feelings of deja vu come from dreams that i've had.
i'll have a dream and find it bizarre that i don't know where i was or who the person/people were in the dream, but 6 months later, i'm at my new job and i have deja vu and can tell you for certain that i've dreamt it.
it's a little weird sometimes, although i like having it because then i kinda feel like i'm where i'm supposed to be.
If you had to be trapped in a TV show for a month, which show would you choose?
most of the shows i watch are reality-based ("the hills," "the city" [shhh...they're my guilty pleasures]) or competition-based ("top chef," "project runway")...so it's a little hard to say. if it must be a normal show, then i suppose "glee" might be nice...lots of singing and dancing.
Who would you most like to be stuck in an elevator with? Least like?
i'd most like to be in an elevator with channing tatum. and oddly enough, he'd find me super hot and want to make out.
i'd least like to be in an elevator with: the slut that lured matt into being a cheater...sorry...still venting. if i keep looking at channing, it might make my day a little better.
In honor of Bastille Day, we'd like to know: What's your favorite thing to come out of France?

What does your ideal lifestyle look like 10 years from now?
Presented by Intel, Sponsors of Tomorrow.
hmm...ten years from now, huh?
- married to matt
- hopefully owning a yoga studio, if not, in a career i love and teaching yoga on the side
- i'd like to have a small house or condo somewhere
- if kids felt like the right thing to do somewhere in those ten years, then maybe a baby
- happy, healthy and grateful for everything we have
What is the most valuable lesson your father taught you? Bonus points if you show us your dad.
how to drive a car
how to tie my shoes
how to ride a bike
how to tell time
how to take care of my car and not sound like an idiot when i take it in for repairs.
What food would you miss most if you were sent to prison for the rest of your life?

- chunky monkey ice cream
- mrs.grass brand chicken noodle soup with a grilled cheese*
- salisbury steak, mashed potatoes and corn**
- pizza
- shrimp scampi
- taco dip***
- rigatoni d****
* chicken soup and grilled cheese - this is a comfort food classic for me. it was once of those things that my mom would make frequently. i actually just had it the other night.
**salisbury steak - another comfort food classic. and i like to kinda mix the things on my plate together when i eat these sorts of things. i love gravy. i love cooked corn mixed in with mashed potatoes.
***taco dip - a lady at work today just brought some in for no good reason other than to expand my waistline.
****don't know if you guys have maggiano's restaurants, but if you do, you have to go there and get rigatoni d. marsala cream sauce, mushrooms, rigatoni deliciousness.
If you had to teach something, what would you teach?
yoga. duh.
i've made a plan to start teacher training classes in late summer. the place that holds them hasn't posted the exact dates, but they always start in july or august. i'm signing up - no more procrastination/excuses.
What's the most complicated part of your life right now?
i think the most complicated part of my life right now is the bizarre life juncture i'm faced with at this current point in time.
i feel like i'm under some sort of pressure to be something particular at this age when no one is keeping me to any kind of timeline but myself. i'm also racking my brain with indecision about what i've chosen for a career and i feel like if i don't make a change now, i'll be stuck doing this forever. it's given me this uncomfortable sense of urgency that is completely unfounded and unrealistic.
another example: i feel like i need to have a house or condo by the time i'm in my early thirties and because of this, it's causing me anxiety about my career and anxiety about what matt's doing. i.e. that entire conversation we had at the fondue place about whether or not he's going to seriously persue making his bands a career.
i wish i could be one of those people who are carefree and who just let things happen. but i don't think i can. i'm a planner. an organizer. these traits make me feel secure and when i don't have a plan, i feel like i'm free falling.
i feel like i had everything figured out a few years ago. i'd say when i was about 21-22. either i had everything figured out, or it didn't matter so much to me because i was 21 and felt invincible. either way, the anxiety level was far lower. i was comfortable. i was content. life was as it should be...with the exception of the loser boyfriend i had at the time, but i didn't know he was a loser at the time, so it was fine. i don't know what happened in between then and now. is this part of getting older? when your responsiblities become so much more apparent and your future becomes much more serious? more scary and unpredictable as oppose to exciting?
if that's the case, send me back to 2003.
or am i just overanalyzing, like i have a tendency to do?
Which cartoon character best represents you?
the mighty b - bessie higgenbottom. she was created in part by amy poehler who is also bessie's voice.
she is a honeybee scout who is determined to earn every badge in honeybee history. the honeybee legend is that once you collect all of the badges, you'd become a superhero called mighty b.
i like her - she's a little nerdy, incredibly imaginative and smart, much older than her 9 and 3/4 years. she's also very driven to reach her goals.
